The course provides an insight into design methods, stages, safety conditions in equipment selection. Information shall also be provided on the establishment of management systems, types of management systems and systems for ensuring compliance. The course provides students with an understanding of equipment ergonomic requirements, medical products directive requirements, CE marking procedure, gives an insight into risk analysis, equipment thermal and mechanical element calculations.
