This subject will give the student an appreciation of the need to publish scientific articles, research priorities, innovation plagiarism and the consequences, the journal citation index and the impact of different journals. Students will learn about sourcing information, critically evaluating the status of the field to determine new areas for development, market needs, writing a publication, selection of a journal to publish their work, and the stages for submitting a manuscript. Emphasis will be placed on methods, statistics, tables, figures, graphs, photos in a well structured articles to effectively deliver the new finding with impact, and follow through the manuscript submission process. This subject will ideally be given in English.
